Alex is now on the move! He is a crawling pro and is cruising around on his feet if he holds onto something. Alex is 11 months old and changing every day. He's still blond and blue-eyed (prompting some strangers to ask if he's ours - the nerve!) He's doing well eating and is eating almost everything we do with his 5 teeth. Alex can say mama, dada, papa, bye bye, caca, coco, and something that sounds suspiciously like "brother" when he sees Quinn. Alex loves playing with his brother and sister and can give them hugs and kisses.
Quinn just turned 2 years old on July 8! As of today he is in his "big boy bed" - we'll see how that goes. Quinn still loves books and makes anyone who comes over read to him (how can you resist "read to me mommy"). Following his sister's lead, he enjoys jumping off of various furniture pieces, jumping on the bed (until mom catches them) and running through the house playing tag. He has been able to sing more songs lately and makes up his own jokes (i.e. Knock, knock, who's there, poopoo, poopoo who, flush it!) Quinn has been working at putting together full sentences (i.e. "can I be excused") and is doing a really good job!
Elena is a computer whiz already (just like dad) and has about 12 websites she likes to visit regularly. We're constantly amazed at her memory - she navigates the web/computer based on remembering menus, etc. She's also started recognizing words and sounding some of them out with help. Art is still her favorite past time and she makes lots of drawings and cards for us. She has been enjoying going to the pool with mimi and papa and grandma and grandpa and is starting swimming lessons soon.
