ALEX has now been dubbed "root hog" for his passion for burrowing under pillows and cushions on the couch and in bed. We often find him with his entire head and shoulders underneath his pillow in the morning. He's going through an extremely cute phase right now where he loves running up and giving you great big hugs over and over again. He can also pack away quite a bit of food - we routinely have to wait 20 minutes after meals for him to finish second and third helpings. Alex has also been dubbed "the runner" since he runs the opposite direction of wherever you ask him to go. Fast. He actually corners and pivots really well now!
QUINN has become quite the internet guru over the past couple months. He has 6 or 7 sites he visits on which he plays games or listens to music. He can play some pretty involved video games for a two and a half year old and is proficient with using the keyboard and the mouse. This may be a middle child thing, but he loves getting his special time with mom and dad - he gets to go with Mike to the grocery store every Saturday without brother and sister, and he sits in church with us instead of going to the toy room with Elena and Alex.
ELENA has decided she was ready to remove her training wheels from her bike. When Allyson removed them and she tried it out, she said "this is harder than I thought" and hasn't tried it since. Her brothers love having her read to them and she even volunteers to read Quinn's bedtime story. Elena is WebKinz crazy and has a gigantic house online. She has an online garden and is excited about the vegetable and flower garden we'll be planting soon. We got to visit Kindergaterten this week and she thought it was pretty fun - a few more months and she'll be off to school on the bus! (gulp)
