Alex is now almost 18 months old. He's having a great time chasing his brother and sister around and copying every dance, jump, and move they make. He is VERY mobile and fast! He's also developing quite a sense of humor and has several jokes he likes (telling everyone he's two when he knows he's one). His facial expressions are absolutely fantastic - you know there's a lot more going on in his head than he can express at the moment, but Alex is doing really well telling us what he wants. Especially when he wants more food ("More please" - great manners too!)
Quinn is almost 2 1/2 already! He seems to be growing up and thinning out a lot now. He's always been pretty good with younger kids and babies, but he's gotten to be fantastic in being gentle and caring for our friends' babies when they come over (putting their binkies in, informing us when they spit up, rocking and singing to them). That said, he's also ratcheted up the noise level, running around the house like a screaming banshee for a good part of the day. He is also doing the "Footloose" thing - he's just gotta dance. Quinn's pretty coordinated and can spin like a top.
Elena is such a big girl-5 in February! She just can't wait for her birthday Feb. 10 and has commenced a serious countdown. She got some play makeup and is enjoying giving Allyson and Mimi "makeovers". She starts soccer at the Y soon and enjoys learning sports-thankfully, she's coordinated like her dad. She is doing pretty well reading on her own - the challenge is just keeping her focused long enough to complete a page! She has recently been able to customize her computer screen in ways we can't figure out! She informed her Papa that his wallpaper needed to be changed and proceeded to take the mouse from him and choose animal photos to replace his. Check out the latest pics on our Photo Pages.
