The latest from our terrific kids:
Elena: "Quinn! Look! It's Lightning the Queen!" (instead of Lightning McQueen)
Elena: "I'll tame you beastful lion!" (playing zoo with Quinn)
Allyson: "Do you need a diaper change?"
Quinn: "Yessiree mommy!"
Elena: [saying grace] "Bless us oh Lord for these thy gifts...and help Quinn not act like a baby. Amen"
Elena: "Quinny! You have Jesus stuck to your head!" (Quinn was playing with his bible bath toys)
Elena: "How can Jesus walk on water?"
Mike: "Because he and God are very powerful and they can do anything."
E: But they don't bring us presents, right?
Elena:"Daddy, did you take showers in college?"
Mike: "Of course I did! Why do you ask? Did you think I just walked around smelly?"
E: "Well, I didn't know if you had showers back then."
Elena: "Quinny, you want everything in that catalog! But you can't have too many toys because when you die you will go live with Jesus. And you can't take any of your toys with you."
Elena: "Tell Mommy she needs to sleep with me tonight"
Mike: "I'm not the boss of mommy."
E: "Yes, you are."
M: "Well, if I'm the boss of mommy, then who is the boss of me?"
E: "Papa" [Allyson's dad]
M: "Then who is papa's boss?"
E: "Mimi." [Allyson's mom]
M: "Then who's the boss of Mimi?"
E: "Sparky!" [Mimi and Papa's dog]
Mike: "Are you pulling on my toes?"
Quinn: [as he pulls each toe] "Hey there little buddy!"
Quinn: "ABCDEFG....WXYZ...Now my ABC is next...uh, sing with me"
